        Medical Emergencies

Go to your local Accident and Emergency department or call 999 for an ambulance for emergency situations such as:

• Loss of consciousness
• Head injury
• Heavy blood loss
• Severe chest or abdominal pain
• Serious accidents
• Suspected broken bones
• Difficulty in breathing

        Out of Hours Services

If you need urgent medical help when the surgery is closed, telephone 0845 045 0411. This service is available on weekdays between 6.30pm - 8am and all day and night at weekends and bank holidays.

        Emergency Contraception

Emergency contraception can be effective up to 72 hours after sex, it is available form the Loughborough Walk-in Centre and from a range of chemists including

• Boots the Chemist in Ashby and Coalville
• Gordon Davis, Long Lane in Coalville
• Mason and Son in Hugglescote, Markfield, Measham and Whitwick   
  
   

        Pregnancy Testing for 13-19 Year Olds

The Coalville Connexions service at 87 Belvoir Road, Coalville is aimed at young people aged 13-19 years and offers

• Free pregnancy testing on Fridays 9am-12 noon
• Condoms
• Listening ear
• Support & information
