We are changing our computer system from November.
We are doing this, as we think it will generate real benefit for our patients and will help us to make the most informed decisions to deliver safer, consistent, appropriate and more efficient patient services. We will be able to see your journey to many other services such as out-of-hours providers, district nurses, school nurses, local A&E, walk-in-centres and have immediate access to the data they hold.
What this means for you? We will be unable to process any routine prescription request from 03/11/2015-11/11/2015 – From the 1st October 2015 we will being issuing those on a repeat script a post-dated delayed script to ensure you have at least 2 supplies of your medication. We would ask if you medication is due during this period, please request your items early.
We will be unable to offer routine face 2 face appointments from 4/11/2015-12/11/2015 - During this time we will be offering on the day emergency appointments only through our Duty Team. All Routine appointments with the GP or Nurses for after the 12/11/2015, will not be open for booking until the 11/11/2015 – so please do not call to book a ROUTINE appointment before the 11/11/2015
