Surgery Closure
The surgery will be closed from 1pm-6.30pm on Friday 27th April for Staff training. If you need urgent medical attention, please telephone 0845 045 0411.
New Telephone System
Our telephone number has changed to 0844 477 3722 and our new fax number is 0844 477 3723. The new system will improve access to the surgery and enable you to cancel an appointment when the surgery is closed by leaving a message for our reception staff.
Staff Changes
The practice was pleased to recruit a new receptionist to the team - Hannah Steiner. Hannah has customer service experience and has been a volunteer at the Citizen's Advice Bureau.
Taxi and HGV Medicals
We are offering a competitive rate for taxi and HGV medicals even if you are not registered at the practice. A taxi medical costs £45 and our current rate for HGVs is £65. You will be asked to bring your DVLA paperwork, glasses if worn and to produce a urine sample. Simply telephone 0844 477 3722 to book your appointment.
Changes to the Appointment System
We have been listening to your feedback regarding our appointment system and have made changes to offer you more choice. Our telephone consultations have proved very popular so these are available everyday. You now also have the option to choose a particular GP to call you back.
Since April 2005, we have also been offering appointments after morning surgery from 11am and following afternoon surgery at 4.30pm for minor ailments and quick queries. Simply telephone on the day you need to be seen and we will book an appointment for you.
